Contemporary cities are often shaped by invisible barriers. Fragmented communication—stemming from language differences, hearing impairments, or speech limitations—systematically isolates individuals within public environments.

Solution

EDI is an urban innovation ecosystem merging architectural furniture with interactive display technology. The project transforms public spaces into open agoras, enabling citizens to communicate seamlessly, naturally, and independently.

Creating a more inclusive way of communicating in public spaces presented a series of complex UX challenges.

Designing for diverse abilities and languages meant building an interface that feels intuitive and universally accessible from the very first second.

Unlike standard digital products, these tables operate in high-traffic, unpredictable public environments, demanding absolute durability and rigorous ergonomic thinking.
